The Plight of the Mice

According to the latest government statistics12% of all animal testing in the EU is due to the cosmetics and beauty industry and mice are seen as disposable and there just for this purpose.

Animals like mice, guinea pigs, rabbits and rats are bred specifically in secret facilities to live their entire lives in laboratories. Did you know that when given the opportunity mice will sing to their mates? Rats will play hide and seek, guinea pigs like to 'popcorn' and zoom around and rabbits hop with excitement. But they do none of these things when their whole life is spent being tortured.

PETA stats show that 300,000 animals are tested on every year in China alone - purely for cosmetics.

The world needs to do better.
